I wear a cape because I like to play Hero.
It's not cut out for everyone and at times you can hurt yourself when you take on a job that may be too much for you.
You may even find yourself playing the villain at times and that's when people normally hang up their capes and call it quits.
I would be lying if I said that I never hurt anyone in the process but it comes with the job.
I've tried to find any and all ways where I could help everyone but in most cases, there can be no such outcome.
Now, I'm no Superman~Hero of The Century, Batman~The Caped Crusader, or Saitama~ Mr. One Punch Man himself but I do my best with the powers that I have
Do you ever wonder why we can't see things behind us? Why we don't have 360 view of our surroundings like we do in video games? Maybe it's because God made a mistake? Maybe we made a mistake during our evolution of survival tactics. Or maybe, just maybe... Satan wanted to play a little joke when he had his say in the creation of the Lord's new little helpers.
Think about it. We've been able to live for the longest time without being able to see over our own shoulders 24/7. Do you know what man's number on fear is in this world? If you said death then you'd be half right. What man is truly afraid of is the unknown. We always get a tingle down
It's a two mile walk from the office to your house. Your car just had to break down on the only day you were given overtime. Luckily you're half way home but the late night is still very... nerve wraking. It's the type of night that everyone hates. The last car you saw was an hour ago and it's bone-chillingly quiet. The street lamps light up the street but the full moon is the brightest thing you see tonight. You feel absolutely alone in the world until you hear the slight footsteps of someone or something behind you. Is it a mugger? A rapist?
Either way, you had a really long day at work and this is the last thing you need at this moment.
Everyone always questions whether or not they’ll go to heaven or hell when they pass from this mortal coil. Whether they can do something naughty and make up for it later. Say you keep a ten dollar that you found on the ground and never try to find it’s true owner but you donate to a local charity a few days later. Do they cancel each other out or does one action exceed the other? No one really knows for sure if keeping money makes you a demon or if donating makes you an angel.
But, what if I told you that there’s a way to find out where your destined to spend your afterlife? Would you believe me? Would you do e
